Clayton Prestridge went 1-2 and hit a home run as the West Virginia Miners (24-12) took home a 9-5 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (21-15) at Linda K. Epling Stadium on Sunday.

Aaron Hopper racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Chillicothe Paints. He homered in the eighth inning.

Ismael Castro got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. Castro struck out two, walked three and gave up six hits.

J.T. Miller couldn't get it done on the hill for the Chillicothe Paints, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out three.
