The Chillicothe Paints (9-6) outlasted the West Virginia Miners (11-4) on Thursday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 5-4 win at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

Giancarlo Brugnoni rocked the West Virginia Miners with two home runs. Brugnoni went 2-7 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Brugnoni homered in the sixth and fifteenth innings.

Mike Dodakian improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Chillicothe Paints. Dodakian struck out three, walked one and gave up two hits.

Russell Luxton (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.
