The Hannibal Cavemen (15-12) took down the Terre Haute Rex (14-13) 7-1 on Thursday at Bob Warn Field after slamming the Terre Haute Rex with four runs in the first inning.

Ian Sikes racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Dylan Terrell struck out six hitters en route to the the Hannibal Cavemen win. Terrell allowed no earned runs on seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

Clay Manering was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
