The Terre Haute Rex (13-11) pounded the Quincy Gems (13-11) on Sunday 7-1 at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

A two-run double by Alex Reynolds delivered the runs in the sixth. The Terre Haute Rex had one hit in the inning.

The Terre Haute Rex's Patrick Chandler was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Kyle Zimmerman picked up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Zimmerman allowed no earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Bronson Gagner couldn't get it done on the mound for the Quincy Gems, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
