A walk-off from Alex Reynolds brought home the winning run for the Terre Haute Rex (12-11) in a 2-1 victory over the Quincy Gems (13-10) at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad on Saturday.

Reynolds did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Terre Haute Rex, reaching base three times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifth inning.

Nick Cunningham put together a nice outing. The Quincy Gems managed just two hits off of Cunningham, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Nick Blount recorded his first win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. Blount struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Ricky Sandquist (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
