The Danville Dans (3-11) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Terre Haute Rex (7-7) roared back to steal a 7-2 victory at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

While the Danville Dans led until the fourth inning, the Terre Haute Rex worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Brian Norwood.

Jacob Hayes reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Kyle Zimmerman got the win for the Terre Haute Rex thanks to seven strikeouts. Zimmerman allowed two earned runs, five hits and four walks over six innings.

Breck Kline got on base two times in the game for the Danville Dans. He singled in the first inning.

Max Homick (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out five.
