The Terre Haute Rex (4-4) outlasted the Hannibal Cavemen (3-5) on Wednesday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 7-2 win at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

Michael Schroeder racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Ryan Torgerson picked up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Torgerson pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out three.

A bright spot for the Hannibal Cavemen in the defeat was Tyler Watson, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.

Tyler Stuerman (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out eight, and allowed five runs.
