The Springfield Sliders (8-16) outlasted the Danville Dans (7-17) on Sunday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 8-7 win at Robin Roberts Field.

Mike Fitzgerald Jr. had three extra-base hits for the Springfield Sliders. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Dalton Herrington got on base three times in the game for the Danville Dans. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the eighth inning.

John White recorded his first win of the year for the Springfield Sliders. He allowed four runs over one inning. White struck out none, walked one and gave up three hits.

Matt Frahm couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Danville Dans, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
