The Quincy Gems take out the Danville Dans with help from Tindall, 9-6

Nick Tindall collected three hits, sparking the Quincy Gems (17-12) to a 9-6 victory over the Danville Dans (8-21) on Saturday at QU Stadium.

He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Seth McWilliams brought the heat against the Danville Dans during his outing. McWilliams held the Danville Dans hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Dalton Herrington racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Danville Dans. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third innings.

Charlie Kapala got his fourth win for the Quincy Gems despite allowing six runs over six innings. Kapala struck out six, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Andrew Alvarez (0-2) took the loss for the Danville Dans. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
