The Butler Blue Sox (33-26) scored seven runs in the eighth to cap a 14-7 win over the Lorain County Ironmen (16-43) on Monday.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the eighth, with seven lead changes.

The Butler Blue Sox took the lead in the eighth inning and held on for the victory. Scored Alexander Miklos and gave the Butler Blue Sox the lead for good.

The Butler Blue Sox were led by Elliott Caldwell's hitting. Caldwell went 4-6 and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.

Adam Dian put together a nice outing. Dian held the Lorain County Ironmen hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Anthony Labondano (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked six and struck out four.
