The Richmond RiverRats (5-9) didn't have a chance on Wednesday, as the Lorain County Ironmen (6-7) won in blowout fashion, 8-2 at The Pipe Yard.

The Lorain County Ironmen scored three runs in the sixth on an RBI triple by Nolan Neuschaefer, an RBI single by Michael Burke, and a wild pitch.

Neuschaefer put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Lorain County Ironmen.

Adam Beach racked up eight strikeouts in the the Lorain County Ironmen win. Beach allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings.

Patrick Van Daalwyk (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.

Burke, Neuschaefer and Jesse Carriere helped lead the Lorain County Ironmen. They combined for 10 hits and four RBIs.
