The Hannibal Cavemen (22-21) and the Danville Dans (13-30) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Hannibal Cavemen that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-3 win at Clemens Field.

Tyler Filliben put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He doubled in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.

The Danville Dans were led by Tyler Fullerton's hitting. Fullerton went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Kevin Lenkman improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed one run over six innings. Lenkman struck out four, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Houston Hibberd (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
