The Hannibal Cavemen (19-17) and the Danville Dans (10-26) traded the lead six times on Sunday, but the Hannibal Cavemen ended up on top with a 5-4 win over the Danville Dans.

Kris Goodman paced the Hannibal Cavemen at the plate. Goodman went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Ryan Brasser allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Dustin Lawson recorded his second win of the year for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Trey McNickle (0-2) took the loss for the Danville Dans. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
