Schroeder struck out three and allowed one walk and two hits.

It was a good day at the plate for the Terre Haute Rex's Kyle Kempf. Kempf went 2-2 and drove in one. He singled in the third inning.

Nelson Marchan (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
