The Hannibal Cavemen (13-12) beat the Dubois County Bombers (18-7) 9-6 on Saturday at League Stadium behind Tyler Filliben, who collected three hits.

The Hannibal Cavemen relied on Kris Gardner to eat up innings en route to the win. Gardner allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out two over six innings of work.

Landon Curry racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Dubois County Bombers. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Ryan Billo was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
