A walk-off sacrifice fly from Wes Minton brought home the winning run for the Danville Dans (1-3) in a 7-6 victory over the Springfield Sliders (1-3) in 11 innings at Danville Stadium on Thursday.

Minton reached base three times in the game for the Danville Dans. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the third and ninth innings.

Wes Perkins was solid at the plate for the Danville Dans. Perkins went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Jamie Pashuck recorded his first win of the year for the Danville Dans. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered no hits.

David Frank ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
