After seven lead changes in Wednesday's game at Danville Stadium, the Terre Haute Rex (2-0) finally pulled out a 5-4 win over the Danville Dans (0-2).

Jacob Hayes led the Terre Haute Rex's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Billy Timmerman got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Breck Kline (0-1) took the loss for the Danville Dans. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
