The Chatham Anglers (17-17) and the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (19-15) volleyed the lead five times on Wednesday, but the Chatham Anglers came out on top for a 8-6 win on Wednesday at Veterans Field.

Adam Engel racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Chatham Anglers. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox couldn't get anything going as long as Jake Joyce was on the mound. Joyce held the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Sam Travis racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Bryan Verbitsky (1-2) took the loss for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
