A walk-off double from Mason Robbins brought home the winning run for the Bourne Braves (9-18) in a 3-2 victory over the Brewster Whitecaps in 10 innings at Doran Park on Monday.

Robbins led the Bourne Braves' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the tenth inning.

Aaron Payne did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bourne Braves, reaching base four times. He singled in the third inning.

Jaron Long allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three over seven innings of work.

John Farrell got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Farrell struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Chase McDowell (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
