Billy Ferriter drove in the go-ahead run to give the Falmouth Commodores (13-9) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Falmouth Commodores hung on to beat the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (6-16) 2-1 on Tuesday.
Jake Rodriguez doubled to start the seventh. He then went from second to third on a groundout by Jonathan McGibbon. Finally, Ferriter came to the plate with the score tied at one in the seventh inning, and grounded out, bringing home Rodriguez.Craig Schlitter got the win for the Falmouth Commodores thanks to six strikeouts. Schlitter allowed no earned runs on six hits and no walks over seven innings.
David Garner couldn't get it done on the mound for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
