The Wareham Gatemen (8-7) and the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (2-12) volleyed the lead four times on Sunday, but the Wareham Gatemen came out on top for a 4-3 win on Sunday at Spillane Field.

Tyler Horan racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wareham Gatemen. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

A bright spot for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the defeat was Jeff Hoffman, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.

Jonathan Holder improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wareham Gatemen. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Jimmy Hodgskin couldn't get it done on the bump for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
