The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (5-4) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 12-1 landslide win over the Wareham Gatemen (4-5) at Red Wilson Field.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox scored five runs in the fifth on a solo home run by Mason Katz, an RBI single by Tyler Sciacca, and a three-run home run by Robert Pehl.

Pehl racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

The Wareham Gatemen's lineup had no answer for Andrew Thurman. Thurman gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his five innings of work.

Tyler McFarland led the Wareham Gatemen's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Dan Tobik was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out six.
