Aramis Garcia brought home the go-ahead run to give the Cotuit Kettleers (4-4) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Cotuit Kettleers hung on to beat the Brewster Whitecaps (2-6) 10-5 on Friday.
With the score tied at four in the sixth inning, Garcia came to the plate and homered, plating Cael Brockmeyer.Garcia racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh innings.
Jacob May led the Cotuit Kettleers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.
The Brewster Whitecaps' lineup had no answer for Jordan Ramsey. The Brewster Whitecaps managed just three hits off of the the Cotuit Kettleers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
