The Road Warriors (4-13) blew out the Washington Wild Things (33-43) 7-1 on Saturday after pouring on four runs in the fourth inning.

Matt Wright reached base three times in the game for the Road Warriors. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Shawn Marquardt picked up the win for the Road Warriors. Marquardt allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Shawn Smith couldn't get it done on the bump for the Washington Wild Things, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
