Junior Arrojo went 2-2, sparking the Florence Freedom (33-29) to a 7-4 victory in seven innings over the Washington Wild Things (24-36) on Friday at CONSOL Energy Park.

Despite the loss, the Washington Wild Things' Jhonny Montoya dominated the Florence Freedom's batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.

AJ Nunziato got on base two times in the game for the Washington Wild Things. He tripled in the third inning.

Alec Lewis recorded his third win of the year for the Florence Freedom. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Lewis struck out six, walked three and gave up six hits.

Eric Blackwell (3-4) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
