The River City Rascals (28-25) took home a 10-4 victory over the Rockford RiverHawks (22-30) on Tuesday at RiverHawks Stadium, fueled by four runs in the eighth inning.

Doug Sanders went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the River City Rascals. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings and doubled in the second and ninth innings.

Michael Thomas got on base four times in the game for the Rockford RiverHawks. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Tony Marsala got the win, running his season record to 3-4. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked four and surrendered nine hits.

Nick Anderson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Rockford RiverHawks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked five and struck out four.
