Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Evansville Otters (17-24) and the Rockford RiverHawks (15-25), as the two teams put up 27 runs combined in a 16-11 the Evansville Otters win.

Luis Uribe had two extra-base hits for the Evansville Otters. He homered in the third inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Javier Herrera racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Rockford RiverHawks. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Matt Zielinski recorded his fourth win for the Evansville Otters even though he allowed six runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

Ziggie VanderWall (3-2) took the loss for the Rockford RiverHawks. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked one and struck out three.

The Evansville Otters hammered the Rockford RiverHawks pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, 15 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
