A walk-off solo home run from Jet Butler brought home the winning run for the Rockford RiverHawks (32-41) in an 8-7 victory over the London Rippers (25-35) in 11 innings at RiverHawks Stadium on Friday.
Butler racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rockford RiverHawks. He singled in the ninth inning and homered in the eleventh inning.
Cliff Archibald got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
David Francis (0-3) took the loss for the London Rippers. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
