Both the Normal CornBelters (13-19) and the River City Rascals (20-14) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Normal CornBelters that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Charlie Lisk led the River City Rascals' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Tyler Lavigne got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Lavigne struck out four, walked four and gave up eight hits.

Tony Marsala ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
