Andrew Heck boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Washington Wild Things. He doubled in the fourth innings and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Justin Hall recorded his fourth win of the year for the Washington Wild Things. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Tyler Lavigne was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out nine, and allowed four runs.
