Stovall struck out eight and allowed six walks and one hit.
Steven Felix pushed the Normal CornBelters ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Patrick McKenna doubled, Felix came to the plate with one out in the seventh and grounded out, plating McKenna.
McKenna put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Normal CornBelters. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Kyle DiMartino recorded his first win of the year for the Normal CornBelters. DiMartino struck out three, walked none and gave up no hits.
Cody Hallahan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
