The Gateway Grizzlies (13-12) trailed by three in the sixth, but the Gateway Grizzlies recovered thanks to a key in the tenth inning from Jonathan Johnson to pull out a 4-3 win in 10 innings over the Normal CornBelters (8-15) at The Corn Crib on Thursday.

Patrick Arnold baffled the Normal CornBelters, striking out six batters. Arnold allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks over seven innings.
Phillip Reamy got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Josh Joseph (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
