Russell Moldenhauer collected three hits, helping the Lake Erie Crushers (18-20) to an 11-6 victory over the River City Rascals (22-16) on Thursday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Mickey Jannis looked sharp on the mound. The River City Rascals managed just two hits off of the the Lake Erie Crushers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Jeremy Synan put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the River City Rascals. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Trevor Longfellow improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Jason Sullivan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
