The Road Warriors (8-27) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Traverse City Beach Bums (64-31) captured a blowout 8-1 win at Wuerfel Park.

The Traverse City Beach Bums scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI double by Jeff Flagg, an RBI double by Kyle Colligan, and an RBI single by Sean Gusrang.

Jose Vargas racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Jacob Clem put together a nice outing. The Road Warriors managed just three hits off of Clem, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Greg Hendrix (0-3) took the loss for the Road Warriors. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
