The Traverse City Beach Bums (38-21) built an early edge on Monday, but the Joliet Slammers (25-34) roared back to steal a 5-3 victory at Wuerfel Park.

The Joliet Slammers' Abel Nieves was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and tenth innings.
