A walk-off single from Jereme Milons brought home the winning run for the Schaumburg Boomers (45-34) in a 4-3 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (46-32) in 10 innings at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium on Tuesday.
Milons racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He singled in the second and tenth innings.
Matt Kuna allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings of work.
Patrick Mincey got the win, running his season record to 4-1. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered no hits.
