Rick Devereaux was solid at the plate for the Washington Wild Things. Devereaux went 2-4 and drove in one. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Chris Smith's eight strikeouts helped the Washington Wild Things to the victory. Smith allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks over six innings.
Brandon Sinnery couldn't get it done on the hill for the London Rippers, taking a loss. He lasted just nine innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
