Hur leads the Rockford RiverHawks to 7-5 win over the Gateway Grizzlies

An outstanding effort by Michael Hur lifted the Rockford RiverHawks (27-32) to a 7-5 win over the Gateway Grizzlies (34-26) on Tuesday at GCS Ballpark - Sauget, IL.

Hur blasted two home runs for the Rockford RiverHawks. Hur went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Hur homered in the first, third, and third innings.

The Rockford RiverHawks would not relinquish the lead as the Gateway Grizzlies were unable to weather a five-run third inning deficit.

The Gateway Grizzlies scored on an RBI double by Rogelio Noris and in the third inning, an RBI single by Richie Jimenez Jr. in the sixth inning, and a passed ball and an RBI single by Noris in the eighth inning. Unfortunately, the Gateway Grizzlies weren't able to take the lead back.

Jimenez Jr. did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Gateway Grizzlies, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Cody Hallahan got the win, running his season record to 4-5. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Hallahan struck out four, walked three and gave up 10 hits.

Paul Tremlin was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
