The Gateway Grizzlies (12-12) beat the River City Rascals (15-9) 4-2 on Wednesday at GCS Ballpark - Sauget, IL behind Landon Hernandez, who went 2-4 and hit a home run.

The River City Rascals couldn't get anything going as long as Paul Tremlin was pitching. Tremlin held the River City Rascals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Alex Kaminsky recorded his fifth win of the year for the Gateway Grizzlies. He allowed two runs over six innings. Kaminsky struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

Tony Marsala couldn't get it done on the rubber for the River City Rascals, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
