The Traverse City Beach Bums (9-6) beat the Gateway Grizzlies (7-8) 12-6 on Sunday thanks to a four-run ninth inning.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

The Traverse City Beach Bums took the lead in the seventh inning and held on for the victory. Scored Jose Vargas and Vargas and gave the Traverse City Beach Bums the lead for good.

Chase Burch racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and homered in the ninth inning.

The Gateway Grizzlies couldn't get anything going so long as Nick Capito was on the hill. The Gateway Grizzlies managed just one hit off of the the Traverse City Beach Bums' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

Chris Enourato was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
