Eddie Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Brad Allen picked up the win for the Florence Freedom. Allen pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks while striking out five.

Tommy Mendoza was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked two, struck out nine, and allowed five runs.
