The Florence Freedom (5-7) took the last of four lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Southern Illinois Miners (7-5), securing a 7-4 victory on Thursday at Rent One Park, Marion, IL.
The Florence Freedom pulled out the win thanks to a strong fifth inning. A two-run error scored Peter Fatse and David Harris and gave the Florence Freedom the lead for good.
