Collins racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Laconia Muskrats. He homered in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.
The Laconia Muskrats got the win thanks in large part to Austin Sullivan's dominant, 12-strikeout performance. Sullivan allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks over seven innings.
A bright spot for the New Bedford Bay Sox in the defeat was Samuel Dodge, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.
Zach Stone racked up two RBIs on two hits for the New Bedford Bay Sox. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.
