The Vermont Mountaineers (16-16) beat the Holyoke Blue Sox (12-20) 11-5 on Thursday thanks to a four-run fourth inning.
Greg Partyka paced the Vermont Mountaineers at the plate. Partyka went 4-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.
The Holyoke Blue Sox's lineup had no answer for Kyle Grana. Grana held the Holyoke Blue Sox hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
