The Laconia Muskrats (12-21) and the New Bedford Bay Sox (21-13) volleyed the lead six times on Wednesday, but the Laconia Muskrats came out on top for a 7-6 win on Wednesday at Robbie Mills Park.

The Laconia Muskrats staved off the New Bedford Bay Sox as the New Bedford Bay Sox were unable to match the Laconia Muskrats down the stretch.

The New Bedford Bay Sox scored three runs in the eighth on a three-run home run by Ty Walker. Unfortunately, the New Bedford Bay Sox weren't able to take the lead back.

Vincente Conde racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Laconia Muskrats. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The New Bedford Bay Sox had no answer for Tim Swatek, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Swatek held the New Bedford Bay Sox hitless over 3 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six.

Sean Fitzgerald couldn't get it done on the mound for the New Bedford Bay Sox, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out three.
