The Holyoke Blue Sox scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Connor McKay, an RBI single by McKay, a sacrifice fly by Rocco Gondek, and an RBI single by Evan Potter.
Paul McConkey racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Holyoke Blue Sox. He singled in the first and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Aaron Weisberg racked up nine strikeouts in the the Holyoke Blue Sox win. Weisberg allowed one earned run on six hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings.
Brian Derner was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
