Andrew Garner drove in three runs, helping the Danbury Westerners (10-11) to an 8-4 victory over the New Bedford Bay Sox (13-9) on Wednesday at Paul Walsh Field.

Jake Stinnett looked sharp on the mound. Stinnett held the New Bedford Bay Sox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Zack Graczyk got on base two times in the game for the New Bedford Bay Sox. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Stephen Catalina got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Sean Fitzgerald (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
