Danny Collins clubbed two home runs to carry the Laconia Muskrats (9-12) to a 12-9 win over the Sanford Mainers (5-12) at Robbie Mills Field.

Jordan Betts hit two home runs for the Sanford Mainers. Betts went 2-5 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Betts homered in the fifth and ninth innings.

Offense was not hard to come by on on Tuesday, as both teams combined for 21 runs and 27 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were eight pitchers used in the game.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the sixth, with seven lead changes.

The Laconia Muskrats finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. A passed ball scored Mark Weist to give the Laconia Muskrats the lead for good.

Tim Swatek improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Laconia Muskrats. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Colin Egan (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
