Six first-inning runs helped the New Bedford Bay Sox (11-6) to a 10-7 win over the Laconia Muskrats (7-9) at Paul Walsh Field on Thursday.

Alex Black racked up three RBIs on four hits for the New Bedford Bay Sox. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the second inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

The Laconia Muskrats' lineup had no answer for Samuel Dodge. The Laconia Muskrats managed just two hits off of Dodge, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Danny Collins racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Laconia Muskrats. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.

Austin Sullivan couldn't get it done on the bump for the Laconia Muskrats, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in one inning, walked two and struck out three.
