Down five runs in the fourth, the Danbury Westerners (8-9) recovered thanks to Sean Smedley's single in the sixth, and pulled out a 12-6 win over the Mystic Schooners (2-13) on Thursday at Fitch High School.
With the score tied at six in the sixth inning, Smedley came to the plate and singled, bringing home Chase Butler.
